“Best beach house we have had the privilege to stay at in Australia”
We have be walking past and admiring Sandcastle for so many years without ever thinking that one day, we would end up spending a week at your beautiful beach house. Well our dreams certainly came true this week with the company of 4 friends. We have had a sublime stay at Sandcastle which more than lived up to our expectations. Beautifully furnished and laid out with outstanding views of the bay. We saw whales every day from the verandah – the perfect vantage point for whale watching. Sandcastle is not only the best beach house in Currarong but is in our opinion also the best beach house we have had the privilege to stay at in Australia. We look forward to returning in October 2018 for another week in paradise.

Currarong in winter, so different yet still beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. The holiday house is a delight, tastefully decorated with a pervading ambience that allows you to shed those day to day concerns, timetables etc so easily. A sad time leaving but we promise to be back. Au revoir.

“Sublime in every way”
Sandcastle is sublime in every way. The house is positioned right on the edge of the bay, conveniently located close to the Currarong rock pool and Abrahams Bosom beach - both superb places for swimming. The view across the bay to the hinterland is magnificent. One could spend hours just sitting on Sandcastle’s ample deck looking across this stretch of peaceful water, watching the dolphins play and catching a glimpse of the occasional whale breaching, depending on the season. The house itself is the perfect holiday house, very clean and very comfortably furnished with a beautifully equipped kitchen. The layout is great with a generous sized lounge room opening on to a covered deck, separate dining area and two bedroom wings with good bathrooms, providing space and privacy. The house comes with central heating, a gas fire and fans for summer. The master bedroom takes the cake, overlooking the bay with a very comfortable queen sized bed. Waking in the morning is real treat with the gentle cacophony of bird songs accompanying the morning light on the water. Cheryl and Peter are the delightful owners of Sandcastle. They are always warm and friendly and very helpful in orienting those new to Sandcastle, Currarong and the exquisite surrounds of Jervis Bay. Sandcastle - you couldn’t ask for anything more in a holiday house!
