Enjoy the local restaurants or dine under the stars..

Some of our favourite eating spots are listed below, but there is also nothing quite like preparing a meal and enjoy the moon as it shines on the water directly from Sancastle's waterfront back deck.

THE BUTTERFACTORY

The butterfactory restaurant serves modern Australian food with an emphasis on fresh, locally sourced produce. The Menu is changed seasonally to ensure you are served only the best quality. The coffee is the best in the Shoalhaven. Summer has set in, soak in the south coast sunsets in our fully air conditioned Grand Gallery room overlooking the rustic country views. We serve locally sourced beers and wines, with live music over the weekends to serenade you and enhance your dining experience.

A day spent contemplating the ever changing seascape, strolling along the foreshore for a dip at the rock-pool, exploring the many coastal trails, quietly kayaking around the bay, watching whales breaching and dolphins at play or simply napping on the verandah, then feasting on the catch of the day at the local fish cafe is just the ticket for your relaxing holiday.

We saw five kangaroos

“Hi my name is Audrey. This year I had a wonderful time – saved jellyfish and we saw five kangaroos – kangaroo poo right in front of the front gate. I also went catching waves, we also saw dolphins. Eliza - I love the Currarong house because it is close to the beach and it has very nice flowers."

A wonderful stay

“We all had a wonderful stay in Sandcastle. We felt very much at home in this beautiful house and enjoyed endless hours admiring views from the verandah. The beach was amazing-small, safe and suited us in all aspects. Some of us are visiting from Ireland and I'd hate to be family and friends at home because we'll be talking about this precious place forever."

A fantastic week

“Thank you for another great stay. It has truly been a fantastic week full of relaxation and good memories. The fact that the house is near so many beaches makes it convenient and allows all of us to enjoy freedoms that we would have found difficult back in Sydney, including not wearing shoes for the whole week!! Thank you for the chance to escape and Happy New Year."
